What's the route? Hope you have great weather!

South to Hampton Roads, then the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, west across the Virginia-North Carolina border to Robbinsville, NC. (We plan to stay at the Two Wheel Inn.) There, run some of the local roads including the Dragon. After a few days, head north on the Blue Ridge Parkway & maybe Skyline Drive.

Take a camera, we want photos!

The all important questions is "what are you riding"?
Sorry if others know. I got here late.

Both interesting bikes. I never thought of those as touring machines, but I've never ridden either of them. Don't they both have CV Transmissions?
Mrs Mc has only been on one of my bikes one time. One of her own is out of the question.

Re: Two more months...
The Burg is a touring scooter with a belt-and-roller CVT and the engine on the swing arm. The Pacific Coast is a regular motorcycle with a frame-mounted engine (the Shadow's 800cc V-twin), 5-speed gearbox with wet clutch, and shaft drive. The PC is a superb touring bike, with a glass-smooth engine and huge storage.
Liz also has a Hyosung Comet, but that is a naked bike with no wind protection, no storage, and totally unsuited for a long ride. (It's also a screamer, spinning ~9000RPM at 75MPH.

Re: Two more months...
I had to Google Hyosung. I had thought they were Chinese makers of those crappy little scooters that folks who had lost their drivers licenses were still allowed to use. Looks like I was wrong on several accounts. AFAIK there is no local Hyosung dealer, but then there is no BMW dealer either, and that hasn't stopped me from owning several of them.

I wish I was retired, but not yet.
I do need ot make more time for riding, but between yardwork and the daughters house, time dissappears on the weekends.
