Me me me!

Post by TPFKA@W »

I am leaving the country in June.

First stop is Jerusalem. Wheeeeeee! I am a bit scared. Bombs and shit you know. I am going to see an old friend who now lives there and is now a full fledged Israeli citizen. I am leaving the itinerary up to her.

Seven days later I am headed to Bergen, Norway, also to hang out with an old friend from high school. I am a bit scared. Viking food you know. She is deciding where I will go and what I will see.

Norway in June, I envy you!

I would also go to Jerusalem in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose; don't waste any time worrying about things you can't prevent, you'll be fine and have a great time! :ok

And please post some pics here for us - even if they don't include your hot self.

Never been to Israel, but I believe you'll find Bergen, Norway delightful. :ok

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Have a fantastic trip. Don't worry about terrorists, car bombs, kidnappers, plane hijacking, Palestinian missiles, anti-Americans, machine gun armed military on every corner, not to mention the high heat & humidity in June.

Take lots of pictures!

Have a great trip; Bergen is beautiful and, as BSG said, Norway is great in June. I think Jerusalem will be great as well--so much history to see.

You might want to consider one of these -- lightweight and comfy.

A fanny pack is optional.

Bergen is nice. Mad expensive for everything. Rains a lot.

Don't miss the stave church.

Old photo. that one was burned down and re-built.

This is more like it now. Authentic weather, too.

The bus can take you there.

I am adding a couple of days in London to do some shopping before heading home. Just gets better and better.

Shopping in London is a nightmare. Why not go to somewhere attractive like Oxford or Colchester?

Not only a nightmare but ridiculously expensive. Why go to London to do what is cheaper and easier at home? Spend your time (and all those melting dollars) on what is uniquely London.

Oh no... you have to go to Reigate for that!

La Barbe is located in central Reigate, Surrey, close to Redhill station, 2 miles from Junction 8 of the M25, only 5 miles from Gatwick Airport and 13 miles from Chessington World of Adventure. By Train - from Victoria Station La Barbe is only 45 mn away.

La Barbe Restaurant
71 Bell Street, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 7AN
Telephone (01737) 241966
Fax (01737) 226387

There are several good Italian restaurants in that neighborhood too. It's earned the nickname "Reigatoni"

I was expecting you to write, "If she went to a Nice, French restaurant, she wouldn't be in London".

I thought that was the perfect set up but what do I know....?
