First stop is Jerusalem. Wheeeeeee! I am a bit scared. Bombs and shit you know. I am going to see an old friend who now lives there and is now a full fledged Israeli citizen. I am leaving the itinerary up to her.
Seven days later I am headed to Bergen, Norway, also to hang out with an old friend from high school. I am a bit scared. Viking food you know. She is deciding where I will go and what I will see.
I would also go to Jerusalem in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose; don't waste any time worrying about things you can't prevent, you'll be fine and have a great time!
And please post some pics here for us - even if they don't include your hot self.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Have a fantastic trip. Don't worry about terrorists, car bombs, kidnappers, plane hijacking, Palestinian missiles, anti-Americans, machine gun armed military on every corner, not to mention the high heat & humidity in June.

Shopping in London is a nightmare. Why not go to somewhere attractive like Oxford or Colchester?

Not only a nightmare but ridiculously expensive. Why go to London to do what is cheaper and easier at home? Spend your time (and all those melting dollars) on what is uniquely London.
