Re: EgyptAir Crash...
Apparently this time, they actually have found debris from the plane:
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-36339614Debris from the missing EgyptAir flight has been found floating in the Mediterranean, Egyptian officials say.
Flight MS804 was en route from Paris to Cairo with 66 passengers and crew when it vanished early on Thursday.
Egypt's army spokesman said wreckage and passenger belongings had been found 290km (180 miles) from Alexandria.
Greek Defence Minister Panos Kammenos said a body part, two seats and at least one suitcase had been found.
The items were found slightly to the south of the area where the plane disappeared from radars on Thursday, Mr Kammenos said.

You see, that right there...that is EXACTLY what you DON'T want to see a president do during a crisis.

Exactly. Without any proof, no debris, no nothing to go on he jumps in and guarantees that this was the result of a terrorist act (at least he didn't stick his other foot in his mouth and add "by ISIS"). We shall see, although it does appear that he may have gotten this one right despite his penchant for talking first and thinking second.Scooter wrote:You see, that right there...that is EXACTLY what you DON'T want to see a president do during a crisis.
However, I have to think back to the Oklahoma City bombing. Knee-jerk reaction at that time was that the attack was committed by Middle-East (Islamic) terrorists, and several instances of vigilante actions or lynch mob-type attacks against people who in some cases merely *APPEARED* to be of suspicious origin were reported before it became clear that the attack was instead an act of domestic, home-grown, anti-government hotheads.
But let's say somehow Trump does win the Presidency and something like the OKC bombing or the Boston Marathon bombing happens while he's in the White House. I can see it now — before the dust even settles he's on TV, full of bluster and bullshit, bad hairpiece and all, guaranteeing that it's a terrorist act by (fill in the blank) "and if anyone doesn't believe that it was a terrorist attack ... you're 100 percent wrong", and launching retaliatory strikes against a supposed enemy that may not even exist.
Do you really want to trust this country to someone who is so ready, willing, and able to go off half-cocked?

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Re: EgyptAir Crash...
True - but he isn't the President. He's a potential candidate. Those people do whatever they wish to do. Then once they reach the presidency, their tune can become a lot different. Case in point: Obama (and I'm thinking here of how he's disappointed Democrats, not Republicans).Scooter wrote:You see, that right there...that is EXACTLY what you DON'T want to see a president do during a crisis.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

The plan turns one way then the other……………..vertical stabilizer?
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.

I don't think Trump's plan has any kind of stabilizer, vertical or otherwise.
Oh, wait...

Oh, wait...
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

A friend of Doc's, one of only two B-29 bombers still flying.
