A German opposition leader has had a chocolate cake shoved in her face in an apparent protest over her stance on migrants.
Sahra Wagenknecht is a prominent member of Germany's far-left Linke party, which was meeting in Magdeburg when the attack took place.
She has called for a limit on the number of refugees Germany should accept, which has put her at odds with others in her party.
A group calling itself Anti-Fascist Initiative "Cake for Misanthropists'' distributed flyers, pointing to her position on migrants as their motive.

The fact her attacker was not SHREDDED by several hundred rounds of fully-automatic fire is a very-serious failure of security.

This was in Germany, where they aren't so trigger-happy as they are here in the good old United States of AmeriKKKa.Jarlaxle wrote:The fact her attacker was not SHREDDED by several hundred rounds of fully-automatic fire is a very-serious failure of security.

Typical attack on a conservative by state spongers.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Please note, this happened at a party convention, for a party that proudly declares in its name that it is to the left of every other party.
This might be the proper tactic for the many Republicans that note the assumed leader of their party has made statements recently that are in opposition to many of the accepted principles of the GOP.

You'd never get close enough to him to do it because of his Secret Service bodyguards, and there's a better than 50-50 chance that his own personal army of brownshirts or other concealed-carry advocates WOULD open fire with automatic weapons if you did.Burning Petard wrote:Please note, this happened at a party convention, for a party that proudly declares in its name that it is to the left of every other party.

you should not be shot for cake facing someone, you should, however, be punched in the nose for it.

Re: mmmm.... chocolate
A pie or a cake in the face doesn't even deserve being punched. And violence begets violence. Trumpanzees have already crossed the line, committing criminal assault in multiple incidents where someone sucker-punches someone already being escorted out of the rally by police/security (the link is an incident that happened in Arizona; the video below is to a different, earlier one in North Carolina).
And when you consider that the 78-year-old man who was charged for the assault shown in the video was quoted as saying "He deserved it. The next time we see him, we might have to kill him." it appears, at least for some of those supporters whose brains have been "Trump-washed", that it may not be all that big a step to go from sucker punches to semi-automatic weapons.

Trump supporter, are you, or just someone who thinks that violence is the answer to everything?Jarlaxle wrote:Attacking a political officeholder should result in an immediate and lethal response.
And Trump, by the way, is not — and hopefully never will be — a political officeholder.
Yes I am ... when the security personnel is provided by a third party — local or state police or the US Gov't (Secret Service) — that is not beholden to the candidate.Jarlaxle wrote:Are you capable of understanding the difference between a candidate's supporters and a candidate's security personnel?
Are you capable of understanding the similarities between a candidate's supporters and a 'personal security force'? Like Adolph and his brownshirts, Benito and his fascist blackshirts, or Mao and his Red Guard?
