When I am working in the yard on the weekend I frequently have a Mets or Yankees game on the radio (70's era boomboxWhat a snooze fest that would be if the entire anthem had to be sung before game time.
). Most times they do not air the SSB but they do mention who is sponsoring the SSB. Go figure.
I do pay attention because if/when they do air it, I stop, cover my heart, listen and thank the heavens for this country that I have the blessing to live in
