When BSG mentioned the bogus forensic crap ,I am afraid I have to agree ,it would be so easy to queer up the supposedly bulletproof DNA results ,just get a little of somebodys hair you didnt like and leave it at the crime scene,so many ways you could do it and I bet if it was contrary the investigator would throw it away .(say if the Commonwealth attys DNA was found at the crime scene (people in these important posistons have to put their DNA in the data too,right or not ?)
