humour me....
I assume that most of you have seen the media coverage of the trump appearance in Scotland.
I watched the appearance and I watched all of the cable news coverage.
and since I assume that you guys only watched some of the coverage (I know that you are busier than me these days), I also assume that you got the wrong end of the stick from the media.
please watch just this one trump appearance for me. he talks about his mother, his family and his golf course for awhile. then he takes all questions on Brexit for a looong while.
please just humour me and watch this one thing, and then tell me if it jibes with the media coverage that you have seen.
por favor?

This

is what made Trump sound like a complete moron when he went to Scotland. He was in the country that voted the most overwhelmingly to STAY in the EU, and claimed the exact opposite.
Nothing to do with "media coverage". Only the words out of that same stupid mouth that he keeps jamming his foot into over and over and over and over again.
No sappy reminiscing about his mother was going to change that.
btw, you missed a couple of streaks of Trump's wad dripping down your face

It's even worse then that...
Here's the presumptive nominee for the Presidency of one of our two major parties showing up on the soil of our most important long time ally on the day after a critical vote for that country's future...
And the thing he wants to talk about is his new luxury resort and golf course...
It's beyond embarrassing...

Humour Me...
I'm fairly sure that most of the people at this non-event left with the impression that Drumpf only got into the race for president to promote his flagging brand and/or to eulogize his mother's Scottish roots by his skillful art of the pander.
Regardless, he failed miserably. There wasn't a wet eye on the golf course.

Re: humour me....
"The world's largest sand dunes" - the man cannot even get that right - or rather, it's another blatant lie. And he boasts about destruction, after promising 6,000 jobs and creating. . . less than 500, some say 95.
From 2013:
The great importance of the sand dome was that it was mobile, it was a great shifting system, it wasn’t fixed. So if you plant it, if you try and stabilise it you will ruin the very aspect which made it unique. If you halt the progression of these dunes by planting them, you’re effectively sterilising the entire dynamic system
The man is a liar, a cheat, a thief and mean-spirited destroyer of the world
From 2013:
The row centres on Mr Trump’s ambitions to create a vast golfing complex in an area he has rebaptised the “Great Dunes of Scotland”
The Menie estate on which the golf course was built includes the Foveran Links dunes, part of "the Sands of Forvie Site of Special Scientific Interest, the fifth largest sand dune system in Britain".The world's largest sand dunes in terms of square miles are the Simpson Dunes in Australia. They cover more than 65,000 square miles of land area. The tallest roving sand dunes are found in the Namib Desert in Namibia, where a dune exceeds 1,200 feet. The tallest stationary dunes are found in Mongolia, and they are over 1,600 feet tall. They also emit a constant hum that experts, to date, have not yet completely been able to explain. The tallest sand dunes in the United States are found in Great Sand Dune National Park in Colorado. There, visitors can scale dunes as high as 700 feet.

You know, I can understand why Dumb-old Frump says and does what he does. He has his eyes on the prize, the position of becoming arguably the most important man in the world, and he is showing that he will lie, cheat, steal, and stop at nothing to attain that.

You are already nuttier than a PayDay bar. Keep this up and even your imaginary friends are going to realize that you are bug-fuggin' crazy and will have nothing to do with you.

On the other hand, wesw, I cannot understand why you continue to spout this drivel. What do you stand to gain from this?wesw wrote:Hillary had better watch out then....

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Humour you?
I would rather bore you so fiercely that the part of your brain which knew how to get here was destroyed by an ischemic attack of ennui.

It's easier to write "Please turn over" on both sides of the paper.
