Because somehow the village idiot has deluded himself into thinking that merely proclaiming not to be a racist makes it so.
David Dukes is a self-acknowledged racist as are the Metzgers (founders of White Aryan Resistance). They just don't think racism is wrong nor are the specific beliefs which form their justification for being racist.
But you have a good point. The stink of opprobrium on the label "racist" is high enough that most people will avoid it even when they are deluding themselves in doing so.

I am not lazy nor do I fail to proof read and I did mean inner-city instead of inter-city, I just didn’t see it. I can ensure you it will happen again in what context I can’t say, but it will happen. So that leave you with two choices, you can start a thread to have me removed or you can expect it to happen again.
I can understand something like that slipping by once, but you used the term "intercity" (incorrectly) three times. I honestly thought that you didn't know better.
And I always try to give my best work no matter how much or how little I'm getting paid. -"BB"-
Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
liberty wrote:In real estate they say something is worth what one is willing to pay. I am not making a lot here.
So you don't have the basic courtesy towards your fellow posters to use intelligible English when you expect them to read your screeds, unless they pay you. Wow, just, wow.
So that leave you with two choices, you can start a thread to have me removed or you can expect it to happen again.
And there it is again. You make a mistake and then you paint yourself as the persecuted victim when someone points it out. How the fuck do you get along in life, where you clearly make many mistakes and where you just as clearly don't stand for anyone trying to correct you?
No wonder that you are such a nothing.

I heartily agree with this much of Jim's earlier post:

In my opinion, probably not. Given her position, I don't think that showed good judgement on her part. (Presumably she herself came to understand this, when she took down the posting and apologized for it.)
That having been said, should this bad judgement call have risen to the level of a firing offense? In the news biz, the answer to that is that it's a business decision, not a "moral" one....
In any event, what does the perpetrators' "race" have to do with anything? Why does she feel a need to comment on it at all, as if it is of some special significance? When there's a mob hit, do we call it "Italian-on-Italian crime"? If the people involved in the homicide -- both victims and perpetrators -- had all been "white," would there have been any need to remark on their race? Or to make suppositions about their parentage, familial relations and means of support?

Because the black community needs to accept that the disaster in the black inner city is of their making and it is they that own it. They need to seek help from the government, but it is they that is going to have to fix it. And some of the fixes may not be that nice.
The woman got into trouble because she cared too much compare that to what my cousin who would say: Hey it is not our problem ( he is right ) why should we care if they come at us we shoot them.
The woman got into trouble because she cared; the message received is not to care if it doesn’t effect you and yours
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.

liberty and his cousin...
Why because I sometimes agree with my more isolationist cousin. He is right it is not our problem. It doesn’t effect us personally: there are no drive by shootings in our neighborhoods.
When I think something is wrong I will post about it. Here I saw two things that are wrong: One, the woman was punished for caring enough to draw attention to a bad situation. Two, if these neighborhoods were white there would be security cameras all over and the streets would be patrolled by the national guard. I am just glad I don’t live there.

I am wondering if you can name a white neighborhood where this happens?
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I don’t know of any such neighborhood, but I feel confident that if there were any something would be done about it.

I was watching Charlie Rose on PBS and Obama was giving a speech in Dallas concerning police relations with black communities. During the speech Obama implied that there were things wrong in the black community. Now that racist, is it not? There is nothing wrong in our black communities and not one penny should spent to change anything. It is just the way it should be.

They have multiple siblings from multiple fathers and their mothers work multiple jobs
Only Scooter would characterize these hard-working mothers as "sluts" who "neglected" their sons. Racism - it's so slippery a word, ain't it?

Hard working mothers yes and my mother was one of them. She was eighteen when she fell for a married Mexican fry cook who worked in the same restaurant. She didn’t know at the time he was married. She had a bastard son, that was me. The family didn’t reject her which did happen in those days, but they did put pressure on her to find a father for me so I would have a name. The old man was popular in the area; he was six foot six and weighted about 250 pounds, he was a great story teller and a good farmer. He was forty five years old when they got married and strong, but he had a heart attack couple years later; he survived but his working days were over. My mother then worked to support us all including my half brother. Young women make mistakes, but mothers will do whatever it takes to take care of their children.

SOME mothers will do whatever it takes to take care of their children. Luckily yours and mine were two who did. Unfortunately a lot of them don't these days.

No, it isn't. You are simply confused both emotionally and intellectually.
Your debility in this area has shown up quite often recently.
One might dislike Texas without having Xenophobia about it. One might observe that one admires a lot of Vietnamese people without that fact being racist either.
These points are not subtle nor complex except for those with a need to deceive themselves; to hide their own racism from themselves.

That sentence doesn't make sense in the context of your conversation and it's ageist, which once again demonstrates your bigoted thought process.
As far as I know both the Maj. Genl. and I are of similar chronological ages,

I'm 65. I don't agree with anything you posted there (but you did make a really good funny in another thread recently; meant to put an applause but at my age... the forgetting thing... you know. Who are you again?
