Yep you got it Bill. There was a reboot some years ago that I found out about when searching for quotes for this one. Probably not worth seeing

it's a hard movie to place, As a child I thought it the best movie ever. As an adult not so much, but, the camp factor made up for it. The thing that gets me is the camp factor is so high, You have to wonder if they knew it to be so. it's a bit of a puzzler as intentional camp is really hard to pull off. I tend to settle on they just got lucky.

I recall thinking at the time "14 hours to save Earth"?  Why such an arbitrary number?  Why not six, or ten, or even twelve?
But FOURTEEN??

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

This sounds like it's from "Seven Days In May."

Nope.  Correct general time frame, though.

Obviously it's "The rubato Story"
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Still no correct answer/guess.
Quick hint — among the cast were Sorrell Booke (better remembered as 'Boss Hogg' from the TV show "The Dukes of Hazzard") and Dom DeLuise.

If you don't mind Bill, I'm going to add a clarifying clue, (if nobody else gets it today I'll answer it; I haven't done one this week)

Those two actors were in it; but this was NOT a comedy...

I think you might have it pinned, LJ — if no one gets it by 5 or 6 PM I'll post one more hint and we'll see what happens then.

Nope.
ADDITIONAL CLUE(S), as promised:
This movie was filmed in black-and-white and did not have a musical soundtrack.
Although it heavily references the US Air Force, the Department of Defense declined to cooperate with the filmmakers.
