Quite right, I stand corrected...

I forgot his later work...

One of the few movies I've watched in recent years, then only as a time killer on a long haul flight.

It was fucking dreadful.

I must have missed that part; anyway he was too old. Mind you, he was young enough to be dreadful.

OK this movie - I bet you stuck with Eastwood
Maybe... 8-)
So, one of the Dirty Harry flicks? Unlikely but I'll guess "Dirty Harry"
That would be a no...

None of the Dirty Harry flicks, and none of The Man With No Name movies either...

Here's another quote:
[character name redacted]:Don't you want a woman of your own?

[character name redacted]: What for?

[character name redacted]: To share your name, bear your children, be a companion.

[character name redacted]: To ask me to quit drinking, quit gambling and save my money? And to bitch about her aches and pains all day? No thanks!

Sounds almost like the African Queen! (Maybe not the language but the idea). An Eastwood film with a woman? Bronco Billy?

You're right, it does sound like something that Bogey might have said to Kate in The African Queen...

But that's incorrect... 8-)

Excuse me?  May I get a word in edgewise here?
LJ was correct.
Sheesh, a guy can't even go away for an afternoon.  ONE TIME I try it and all hell breaks loose around this place without me to ride herd on you-all.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

This quote has been verified carefully. No rules were injured during the course of such verification

I am sick of your foul language, your crude behavior and your sluttish manner. There are certain things a decent woman keeps private, and only a filthy slut would have done this and those who stood by and encouraged her are just as bad. I don't care who's responsible - you're all to blame.

Well, that was a tough one! Well done, BSG! Lovely movie that - if somewhat (ahem) dated in its racial attitude. It was an improvement on so many, though.

One of my all-time favorites, I'm a YUUUUGE Sidney Poitier fan!

Did you know that there is a sequel?????? I just learned that myself! Put it in my Amazon queue.

You said that you and me were gonna get out of town and for once just really let our hair down. Well darlin', look out 'cause my hair is comin' down!

I've had enough lesbian friends to have watched this at least a dozen times.
