Costs nothing to be nice! Would that certain posters on another forum understood that one gets what one gives... but I digress.

Good luck to your Flyers!

Is it alright if I also root for the Penguins? I know they are a rival to the Flyers!

I love hockey ...but my team is sucking, right now!

Last game, they scored against themselves!!!!

Sharks lost in overtime when defenceman Dan Boyle scored into his own net.

I haven't followed the Flyers since the days of Dave Schultz and the Broad Street Bullies, and even then it was mostly 'cause as a teenager I didn't know any better; in South Jersey and Philly it's just what you do. Back then, the Flyers all used to go for pizza and beer at this place in Jersey right over the bridge, so we were always running into them around the neighborhood.

I saw that on the news -- sorry, but it was hi-larious!

Nope, just a summer where I will swim, bike, and run to my heart's content, surrounded by amateurs. Better to be doing than watching!

The look of death Boyle got from the goal tender (Nabokov) was priceless.

Looks like your sharks won tonight! And Boyle scored on the right goalie this time! :ok

Years ago my two favorite hockey teams were the Bruins and the Flyers. My favorite players were Bobby Orr, who I believe to be one of if not the best to ever play the game, and Bobby Clark.

There is a reason that Bobby Clarke is a hockey legend and is still treated as a god around these parts.

Clarke and Orr had uncanny skating ability much like Sidney Crosby today.

It brings a tear to my eye to know there are a good number of hockey fans on this forum.

So, who wants to talk playoffs?

If we're naming the greats from years gone by, I will add the Great One himself, Wayne Gretzky!
