The Obama movie just isn't good drama. They are both highly intelligent, accomplished, articulate people with two very graceful daughters. Poised, dignified, elegant, admired by all of the educated world.
Where is the drama? The conflict? No Iran-Contra, no Savimbi, nothing shameful like supporting Pinochet or helping the S&L crooks escape prosecution.
I watched 'Sausage Party' at the local movie theater with the cheapest tickets. There was one other person in the room for that showing. I guess I should have previewed the trailer. Much of the non-PC insults I think I missed because the dialogue was too fast and too much additional noise for me to sort it all out. It was not bad enuff to make my list of 'so bad it was good' like 'Plan Nine From Outer Space' but it was better than most of the stuff I have switched channels to get away from on the Comedy Channel.
