It would be blaspheming for YOU to say that but it isn't likely that it is for them to do so even in your own system of values.

When you use the word "Christ" it has a particular referent which is most likely different from theirs. They cannot blaspheme UNLESS they are referring to "the Christ" and also believe in the divinity of "the Christ", if you see what I mean. I might help to illustrate it like this; if I were to say "Jesus, what an asshole" referring to someone named "Jesus" (a common name in the SW btw) it could no be blasphemy.

"Good god" has a similar status with the additional factors of their being so many gods which might be intended and "good" can mean a lot of different things. But in this case it is just an expression meant to amplify the degree to which "asshole" is inadequate as a description with no theological intentions at all.

But if I had to list some examples of good gods right now I'd go for Chac

David Duke’s getting more support from black voters in his race than Donald Trump is in his

Former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke was interviewed by NPR's Steve Inskeep this week, and he reiterated his affection for the man at the top of his party's ticket.

Duke is running for the U.S. Senate from Louisiana, and he pledged that, if elected, "nobody will be more supportive of [Donald Trump's] legislative agenda, his Supreme Court agenda than I will. I'm 100 percent behind it." He criticized Republicans and "so-called conservatives" who were balking at Trump.

To the chagrin of the Republican Party in the state, which quickly denounced Duke's candidacy, there's no primary to weed Duke out of the mix before the November election. Every candidate running is on the ballot then, with the top two headed to a runoff if no one gets 50 percent of the vote.

In a recent poll conducted by the University of New Orleans’ Survey Research Center, Duke gets the support of about 13 percent of the state, with more opposition from older voters — who likely remember his past runs for office, the pollsters note — than younger ones. That level of support mirrors his favorability rating in the poll; 14 percent view him favorably to 82 percent who don't. (Only 4 percent of respondents weren't familiar enough with Duke to have an opinion.)

But here's the weird thing, as the New York Times' Campbell Robertson pointed out on Twitter on Thursday. Duke, a former leader of the Klan, gets support from 14 percent of black voters — a figure that eclipses the support Trump gets nationally or in nearby Georgia in a new poll from that state.



In three national polls released this week, Trump averages 2.3 percent from black voters. In Georgia, he got 5 percent. (In polls conducted before the conventions in Ohio and Pennsylvania, Trump got zero percent of support from black voters.)

A new poll has found that Donald Trump is less popular with the American public than head lice, but marginally preferred to haemorrhoids. Given the historic unpopularity of the presumptive Republican nominee for President – who has a staggering 65 per cent average unfavourable rating, according to Real Clear Politics – the survey by Public Policy Polling asked respondents to compare their opinion of Trump to other commonly disliked people and things.

As many as 54 per cent thought more highly of head lice than they did of The Donald, who also proved to be less popular than traffic jams, hipsters, root canal surgery and Nickelback, the critically unloved Canadian rock band. To his credit, the race-baiting billionaire did beat cockroaches by 46 to 42 per cent, and haemorrhoids by 45 to 39 per cent. However, among women, Mr Trump even lost out to insects and anal discomfort. That’s right: American women would rather have piles than a Trump presidency.
