A Central Texas man is accused of murder after his wife's head was found inside a freezer.
According to news station KCEN, Davie Dauzat, 23, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Natasha.
Bellmead police were called to the home on Thursday around 11 a.m. after getting reports that a man was assaulting his wife, KCEN says
Two children, ages 1 and 2, were also in the home, but were not injured, according to the report.
Police told KCEN that Dauzat was covered in blood when he voluntarily came out of the house. Police secured the children.
Dauzat is jailed in McLennan County on $500,000 bond.
