I have very little hope for any change in the future.
And here lies the problem.
Hillary is more of the same (as the past 8 years) which had little to no growth, almost 95 million not in the labor force, salaries not going as far as the "hype" says they should. by that I mean, I keep seeing how people are "supposedly" making more and that inflation is "supposedly" low, but still people are struggling. One, or both, of those numbers is wrong.
And then we are forced to pay for things we may not want nor need. Along with "user fees" (aka hidden tax) to do things that used to cost very little, or nothing, and now cost a lot.

And Trump is just insane. I would say he is an alcoholic but he doesnt' drink. maybe he should :shrug
The only good thing I can say about him is he is not a professional politician.
In case I haven't said it before, I dislike most politicians

oldr--my real concern about change is this--politicians are not stupid and they will give us what we want (or demand or accept). Right now that is something light on ideas and more about who did or didn't release his tax returns. And so most people vote with little idea of what a candidate stands ofr or would like to do. and the politicians, realizing that it will not get them any votes, back off talking about that. Now it is not entirely universal, and Hillary's positions are there for all to see on her website (Trump, we have to trust him), but then we get last night's debate when the positions could be discussed and what do we get--SOS. And our politicians are moving more and more toward that.

Now if the people demanded meat instead of sizzle, policy instead of entertainment, we'd get it. I would bet both of these guys would (and I know Kane would) be able to talk intelligently about policy and proposals--but instead we get "Trump didn't disclose his tax returns" in response to every question (like engagement in the ME). And when a guy like Kane sinks to that level, when he acts like a buffoon, we can see how the dems are determining what is important (and in running Trump, we know what the GOP thinks the people want). and this makes me think we will have no real chance for change in the future--just mre trash TV of politicians interrupting and insulting each other.

But again, IMHO we get what we deserve.

I'm afraid we in the rest of the world may get what you deserve as well. And we don't want it! :fu
Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.

I watched the VP debate. Kaine was obnoxious and out of control but what he was saying was actually good and probably lost on a lot of people in the confusion of the two talking over each other. Pence was kind of boring but he was more civil than Kaine.

The moderator wasn't moderating. She was being an administrator like Gob.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Of the four teams in the NL playoffs, I could easily root for 3 of them in the World Series...

Which if the baseball season turns out the way the political season has, means of course that The Dodgers will win the NL pennant... :?

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.
