Re: Name That Movie!
Total guess on my part. The only "modern" vampire movie I could think of.
Lets see if I can think of a good movie. Be back soon.

You couldn't possibly know this one LJ, it was filmed after 1965.....Lord Jim wrote:Uh, I believe that's a dead giveaway, (no pun intended) that this is a vampire movie...Her blood coursed through my veins,
No, that couldn't be it...Charles and Diana?
I've seen Chuck out in the day time...

Hardy har har....You couldn't possibly know this one LJ, it was filmed after 1965.....
I'll have you know that I not only knew this one missy, but I also read the book...

Re: Name That Movie!
I did as well and it was one of the few times I liked the movie better. Making the young girl vampire older than in the book (I think she was around 6 as I recall) made a more interesting story IMHO.
Re: Name That Movie!
And here I thought you'd be calling it a chick flick....Lord Jim wrote:Hardy har har....You couldn't possibly know this one LJ, it was filmed after 1965.....

Re: Name That Movie!
Nah, maybe the Twilight series could be called that (and probably a pre-adolescent chick flick), but not Interview.

Re: Name That Movie!
I read the book--and the other two in the trilogy, in fact--but didn't see the movie. Just on the basis of having read the book I was ready to make a (correct) guess, but I'm glad that oldr beat me to it and finally got one. After seeing Big RR's comment about the movie being better than the book, I'll have to check it out...

Older finally wins one and then goes MIA?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

What? I thought I answered oldr_'s quote. I guess I was a tad hasty, no?Crackpot wrote:Older finally wins one and then goes MIA?

Re: Name That Movie!
LordJim, you can take my turn I really don't have the time to look up quotes. Check your pm for a movie I would have picked but you can choose a different one if you wish.
Re: Name That Movie!
Here's a quote from the movie oldr picked:
As you might have surmised from the quote, it's another horror flick...(which seems like a good theme for the month...)When people believed the earth was flat, the idea of a round world scared them silly. Then they found out how the round world works. It's the same with the world of the supernatural.

And as a hint, I believe it's a horror film I recall oldr mentioning as one he likes.
