Something the Trumpanzees should think about in their quest to turn back the clock:

In the 1950s, it would have been their rhetoric that was considered un-American, and NOT the targets of it.

I've noticed that wes has not posted in this thread since this question was addressed to him...BoSoxGal wrote:wesw, how do you discuss Trump's bragging about sexual assault and shrugging it off as 'locker room talk' with your young daughter?
Seriously, I'm curious as to how one defends that not to other adults, but to his own daughter.
I thought I'd re-post it for him...
I'll even suspend my self-imposed restriction on reading his posts to read his answer...

No way am I copying an pasting this list.....The 281 People, Places and Things Donald Trump Has Insulted on Twitter: A Complete List
Since declaring his candidacy for president last June, Donald Trump has used Twitter to lob insults at presidential candidates, journalists, news organizations, nations, a Neil Young song and even a lectern in the Oval Office. We know this because we’ve read, tagged and quoted them all. Below, a directory of sorts, with links to the original tweets. Insults within the last 60 days are highlighted.

Nah, that ain't really Trump. Here's how he would have put it:Econoline wrote:Is this tweet real, or satire?
(It's just impossible to be sure anymore.)
"We stole this country fair and square. Because we were great. We made America great. Indians, they couldn't stop it. Because they were losers. And I can't stand losers."

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

There is more of that "political correctness" that the Republicans are all saying is wicked and corrosive.

TRUMP IS SERIOUS!!!!!
Hypothetically speaking, If Trump wins it will be proof positive the election was rigged.wesw wrote:when trump wins...

Q.: What do you call a few million Trumpanzees mowed down in the streets by overwhelming military firepower in an aborted attempt to overthrow the election results?wesw wrote:...me and my musket...
A.: A good start at raising the nation's collective IQ by 30 points.

Re: trump is serious!!!!!
No answer to the question then, what a surprise...since jim is deigning to read a post, though he skipped all the good ones in this thread....(he just turned his pretty head and walked away..., me too...), I ll just say that I m with joe walsh....

Just some diversionary gibberish followed by an irrelevant YouTube video...
Deja vu all over again...
ETA:
BTW wes, I certainly did not intend to give you the impression that I was trying to "pretend" to "care" what you "think"...
I was just curious to see how you would answer BSG's question:
Because I can't think of a good answer...BoSoxGal wrote:wesw, how do you discuss Trump's bragging about sexual assault and shrugging it off as 'locker room talk' with your young daughter?

Apparently neither can you, since you are refusing to answer it...

Re: trump is serious!!!!!
After observing much of the discussion, from both sides, about this recording of the Donald and Billy Bush, I find the discussion very offensive.
Both sides have people who said they find these words very offensive to them, insulting, hurtful, embarrassing for their daughters, wives, mothers to hear this.
IT AIN'T THE WORDS PEOPLE !!! This is not vulgar talk. This is a freely offered confession of vile ACTIONS and no sense of morality at all.
He clearly stated what he has done, along with the belief that if you are a star, there is nothing limiting one's hedonistic actions. Nothing.

Re: trump is serious!!!!! and he is right!!!!!!
The Donald has claimed there is a liberal conspiracy against him and the system is rigged.
Two headline stories on the front page of the online Washington post right now prove him right.
FCC passes sweeping rules to protect online privacy
The rules, passed in a 3-2 vote by the Federal Communications Commission, require Internet providers, such as Comcast and Verizon, to obtain their customers' explicit consent before using or sharing that behavioral data with third parties, such as marketing firms.
• By Brian Fung
Part of Trump’s comeback plan: Building a ‘psychographic’ profile of every American adult
The GOP nominee is paying millions to a little-known analytics company to find a way to target potential voters based on data from everyday life. Trump’s campaign sees promise, but doubters abound.
• By Michael Kranish
Clearly the FCC rule is intended to shut down the Donald's psychographic profile effort. On the other hand, I want to know more about the analytic company that can get such product out the door in time to make a difference.

Remember to check back, too, when Trump loses ... although I don't expect him to admit it until sometime around Valentine's Day.wesw wrote:when trump wins, I ll check back to collect my person of the year award...
