This election cycle has me sick, literally.
Anxiety is a real issue for MS sufferers - like disabling - and I've been feeling progressively worse since the conventions. I try to avoid the coverage but I can't, I'm too concerned about politics and such and have always been a news watcher/listener. I think you'd have to live on a deserted island to avoid this stuff, anyway.
Today I feel like I could just vomit, collapse, explode. I cannot believe the FBI is reopening the investigation. I cannot believe the Clintons were so incredibly stupid about the CGI/CF workings and Bill's gifts and speaking engagements, etc. I know they both came from not a lot and perhaps the lure of great wealth was too intoxicating, but it just totally destroys my confidence in her, which I was trying really hard to build.
I keep hearing the children are electing Trump in the mock school elections - from friends all over the country, blue and red states both. That really troubles me, as those school elections are allegedly predictive.
I'm not sure I could physically withstand a Trump presidency. I will have to emigrate somewhere . . .

GAH!
Re: ANXIETY OVERLOAD!!!!!
It turns out that lighthouses are all automated these days. Only the oldest one in the US, the Boston lighthouse, has a keeper who lives onsite - but the light is still automated.
My cousins will keep my dog for me, they love her. I'm thinking it might be time to go teach English someplace if that monster gets elected. Or maybe low-key law practice in Palau, where they have a spotty internet connection and TV is still tape-delayed. The place will be underwater in a few decades, could be cool to see it before then.
ANYTHING to avoid watching Trump destroy the country.

I can understand anxiety but not about the presidential election. Hillary has been a lock for months and recently it has come to appear that the most useless and obstructive party in US history will lose the Senate and some seats in congress as well.
Its all good. Obama began a program of reform and improvement against the worst opposition which will shortly be continued. Hillary already knows that it is a waste of time trying to appease a jackass GOP congress. So it will go more quickly.

I just go to more aa meetings. Tonight I'll be there from 6pm to 10pm. I make coffee, chair a big book meeting then a meeting for personal anniversaries for two members.I think you'd have to live on a deserted island to avoid this stuff, anyway.
I've been on zoloft (or whatever hte generic is) for years now. Doc had ok'd reducing from 50mg to 25mg and I have been doing fine for the 10 days I reduced.
Thats stuff got me through some rough anxiety times. It's not an opioid so no danger of addiction. BSG, check with your doc and see if you shoudl/might want to take it. Welbutrin is pretty good also.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

We stayed in this one for a fortnight on our last UK visit

Trump sends his "love" to all!

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.
