sorry for the delay
You guys are having more fun without a clue.
I should just stay away. :o

Well here goes.
actor A: This may explain it, seeing things. When did this happen?

actor B: One day me and my brother were walking down the street... my brother disappeared.

actor A: Into thin air?

actor B: No, into a man hole.

actor A: How about voices? Do you ever hear strange voices?

actor B: Yes sir.

actor A: Aha, and when do you hear these strange voices?

actor B: When I get the wrong number on the telephone.

Sounds like it could be a Marx Brothers routine.  I think it's "A Night at the Opera".

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

It sounds like an Abbot and Costello routine to me, but I don't recognize it specifically or know what movie it's from if it is Bud and Lou....

I know it's not Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein because we watched that Saturday night on Svengoolie, and I don't remember hearing it...

Your clue helped oldr, plus that movie just popped into my mind. then the quote made sense.

in keeping wth the season, another quote from a horror film:
At first I couldn't understand what the pillows where doing in my hands and why you didn't move, but then I knew, it had happened, I killed my children. I got the rifle, I put it to my forehead and I pulled the trigger, nothing, and I heard your laughter in the bedroom, you were playing with the pillows as if nothing had happened, and I thought the Lord and his great mercy was giving me another chance, tell them, don't give up, be strong, be a good mother...

One of my favorite 'horror' movies, based on a great Henry James novel The Turn of the Screw. Very creepy but all psychological drama, no gore - the best kind of scary movie.

Thank you, I'm downloading it on my Kindle to watch tonight while my 98-yr-old gentleman sleeps.

I'm looking for a good scary movie quote, be back shortly (I won't pull an oldr!)

Hope he wakes up again, 98 years?

"Do you like scary movies?"

"What’s the point they’re all the same, some stupid killer stalking some big-breasted girl who can’t act who is always running up the stairs when she should be running out the front door, it’s insulting."
