I've paid attention to these off the past three presidential (and mid term) election cycles and I must say I don't see the point. Republicans seem to do a good job at identifying the problems and then promptly forgetting them while the Democrats can't seem to remove the political blinders to clearly see the problem(s).
The parties can't see past the goal of being in the majority anymore so fixing the country long term has become a fairy tale
