I agree 100%. For many a trade is the way to go. When my kids were in grammar and high school I brought up such as the schools were paring back on things like wood and auto shop and pushing the college path more and more.

) and then entering the carpentry trade. He loves what he does, is good at it and makes pretty good money at it.
