Question: Can anyone imagine a scenario in which Trump got 2.2 MILLION more popular votes than Clinton, but LOST by narrow margins in a few key swing states, thus losing the Electoral vote....and then Trump and his supporters DIDN'T cry foul and fight the result by any and every means possible???
(Hey, he even TOLD us that the election was going to be rigged. How can he or his supporters complain if we just take him at his word?)

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Re: Why Hillary Lost
Is your scenario any more far-fetched than the one working out now, where all the blue-collar workers in stagnant industries now see their president rejecting the beautiful wall, the 'lock-her-up', the mass deportation, the water-boarding--and gathering a selection of associates to run the new government who are all super-rich and never made a nickel doing actual physical work?

yeah..., ok....
the repubs won a landslide.
governorships, state legislatures, the senate and the house and the presidency....
I will be ticked off if Romney gets sec state.
give him the VA to fix and see if he has the grace and honor to accept the offer.
maybe guliani has one case left in him..., sic him on Clinton inc., if she wants to contest the election.....
it s all rainbows and unicorns right now, but I fully expect trump to play hardball after the electoral college votes and he is inaugurated .
until those two things happen, I m holding my breathe and think it wise for him to be restrained until then.
he should immediately state that his campaign has concerns about voter irregularities in new Hampshire, Nevada, Virginia AND California.....
....and he should immediately file the necessary papers to request recounts.....
....just so that we can be sure that the vote was honest there....
I think that the chance of illegals voting being uncovered will be enough to squelch the effort to overturn the election results

And when White House staffers hear the crop of new "advisors" whispering with each other in Russian, they should not be alarmed.

Fred Reed has posted some dumb things on his blog during the election period. But I think this one has a lot of truth in it. The growing tribalism in American is non-exceptionalism in the world today. I hope tome kind of leadership or consensus building can overcome it here in the USofA. For this and several other reasons, I fear for the future my grandchildren will live in.
