Yes. Very bad 11 alarms, hundreds displaced but luckily because it happened on a Saturday, midday and people were awake and out and about (not at home asleep) there were no deaths and only a few injuries. That's a miracle. https://www.google.com/amp/boston.cbslo ... ent=safari
I have friends who live in the neighborhood, who are safe and fine but had to leave because the fire was coming close to their home, and the power was cut off in the whole neighborhood. It got pretty cold last night and today is one of the coldest days we've had yet this fall.
As for why? I assume it's a bunch of angry Trumpanzees, taking out their frustrations on the liberal Cantabridgians.
