I recall I was hanging out with a kinda "hippie chick" at the time.

Needless to say, she was bummed out in a major way.

She had an altar in her living room to Lennon (candles - the whole bit).

She was down for the rest of 1980 (in spite or Ronald Reagan's accession to the throne).

With that being said, I am more of a George Harrison kinda guy.

Nov 29 2001 was a dark day.

eta: I wonder who will go first, Ringo or Paul?

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

If you were paying attention, you would know that Paul already died in 1966...

P.S. there are hundreds of youtube videos by conspiracy theorists who believe the above.

This is how I heard of it and I'll never forget...

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I recall I was on night shift 7pm to 7am in a drug testing lab in London when the news came through.

I was seven years old. I remember seeing it on the news. They played Strawberry Fields Forever.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

No they didn't, they stopped after a couple of days.

I was on my way out to a club, and had a punk rocker's snarky reaction: "At least now we can stop worrying about whether there's gonna be a Beatles reunion."
GAH!
