All right, listen up guys. 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except... the four assholes coming in the rear in standard two-by-two cover formation.
Name That Movie!

I don't think this was done before

The Breakfast Club?
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Name That Movie!

Re: Name That Movie!
No on both. (Even though I doubt either is a serious guess).

They Crossed the Delaware: a Hessian s Christmas in America

It's one of the Die Hard movies.Crackpot wrote:I don't think this was done beforeAll right, listen up guys. 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except... the four assholes coming in the rear in standard two-by-two cover formation.
I'm going "Die hard" or "Die Hard 2: Die Harder"
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”
Re: Name That Movie!
Okay CP, that kind of creates a conundrum...Crackpot wrote:Pick one.
That reply tells everybody else on the board that the correct answer is one of those two. (Otherwise you would have just said, "no, and no") So now somebody else, who had no idea what the movie is before Strop posted and you replied, will easily be able to guess it before he does. (Since he's on the wrong side of the planet, it may be a while before he gets back here to answer.)
Just my opinion, but to be fair it seems to me you should either just give it to him (since if he had done it sequentially rather than in one post he could have given two answers anyway) or at least give him first crack at it and not give it to somebody else who might jump in with the answer before he has a shot.

Hey it's only one guess per customer. If someone thinks it's one of those two movies they can steal.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Name That Movie!
Currently, I'm thinking: Die Hard: Amping Up

Actually, I think that image is from "Die Hard: Don't Make Me Start Something".RayThom wrote:Currently, I'm thinking: Die Hard: Amping Up

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
Re: Name That Movie!
I've known the answer since the quote was posted...
I'm thinking about answering it and then giving my turn to Strop...

Okay:
(I really thought wes knew it when he made that "Hessian" reference...)

It's the Die Hard movie that was set at Christmas time:

Re: Name That Movie!
Pretty good Jim--I knew it as well, but did not get the Hessian reference (then again, not all germans are hessians, are they; only the ones from the hessia (sp?) region--and maybe people who read herman hesse)
Re: Name That Movie!
Jim has it.
Jin's error was thinking wes could be that clever.
