Xmas in Cornwall

Hundreds of brave swimmers from across Cornwall took part in a Christmas Day plunge for charity.

People of all ages converged on a wet and windy Crooklets Beach for the annual swim in aid of the Bude Surf Life Saving Club.

Another swim took place at Sennen, also enjoyed by hundreds of hardy souls.

Well, it could have been worse. My cousin, Cynth, in Manchester said it was 13°c today. Not bad for this time of year in England. No wonder so many showed up for the plunge.

FYI: Before her gender reassignment surgery she was known as Amos. Her Adam's Apple is the giveaway.
