What will rubato think?!?!?The children of a South Carolina politician accused of battering his wife can be heard screaming "just stop, Daddy" on a 911 call recording.
Republican representative Chris Corley has been charged with first degree domestic violence and pointing a firearm at a person.
The call was made on Monday evening, and released by police to local media.
Mr Corley, 36, recently voted for legislation toughening punishments for domestic violence.
"Just stop Daddy. Just stop...Daddy, why are you doing this?'' can be heard in a recording released to the Aiken Standard newspaper.
In a second call, a woman identified by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office as Mr Corley's mother-in-law tells a dispatcher: "He beat his wife and he's threatening to kill himself.''
Oh Carolina...
Oh Carolina...
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

Does, he?What will rubato think?!?!?
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Re: Oh Carolina...
Too bad it's not still the 50s, when this 'private family matter' never would have even made the news.
Fucking feminists, persecuting men for utilizing their God given right to beat their wives! We need to Make America Great Again, like it was before 911 and domestic violence advocacy!
Oh sorry, I'm sure that's the wrong opinion to post here. Only attacks on rubato allowed probably, huh?

No, but the guy won't get nearly enough time in prison. There will be folks saying he shouldn't have his gun rights revoked. Hopefully his wife doesn't stick up for him, but I've seen too many cases where they do.
Just another case of a piece of crap human. They exist everywhere. It only made news because he was a politician.
On the flip side, not ALL Republicans are like this. Not all Trump supporters are misogynistic white guys.

We have progressed since the 1950s and now women beat their wives.

However, I'd be willing to bet that most misogynistic white guys are Trump supporters....datsunaholic wrote:Not all Trump supporters are misogynistic white guys.
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Yeah, I wouldn't take that bet. A lot, if not most, if the people I know supported Trump are also very much believers in "specific gender roles". It's still quite pervasive. Oh, and some of those are women.
