I was clean cut before this election......

....now I have a Viking beard, long hair and even a blue, Duck Dynasty style, bandana.

i was gonna cut it when trump won or the orioles won the world series.....

maybe after the inauguration....

i don t know tho...., it sure would make it hard for a wolf or a cougar to get my neck or throat , what with all the hair.... my beard is like a brillo-pad....

it s really warm too, i haven't even needed a hat!!!!

Logic dictates that a beard on your face does nothing to prevent heat loss from the top of your head - it might replace a scarf, but not a hat.

BSG — I agree; he did make it seem like he was saying the beard was so warm that he didn't need a hat.

But remember — this is wesw, who hops from one train of thought to another like a bullfrog at the Calaveras County Jumping Frog contest.  He also mentioned that he now sports "long hair" and I assumed he was saying that *this* was what was keeping himself so warm that he did not need something on top of his head.  Not that there's too much up there that needs to be kept warm anyway, if he thinks that a scratchy beard is going to keep a cougar or wolf at bay.

I have the clean Viking look.

a years worth of hair and 6 months of beard.

flowing sandy brown hair past my shoulders and a bushy red and white and brown beard.

oh and the bandana as a head band to keep the hair out of my eyes contributes greatly to the warmth of my head and my ear-tops . it, along with the hair were all I needed when it was 11 degrees out!

i d never work in a steel shop like this tho....

i d get head my head ripped of because of the hair.

i d look like "Richard pryor running down the street" when my beard or hair caught fire too.

They appear to be more scratchy to the wearer. The guys I know who have beards tend to be stroking them all the time. I have also observed the more hair on the face the less on the head.
