Name That Movie!
Re: Name That Movie!
I had a good guess, and the 'sunnier disposition' clue clinched it:

A good movie that makes a statement about politicians worth listening to.

Today is history. Today will be remembered. Years from now the young will ask with wonder about this day. Today is history and you are part of it. Six hundred years ago, when elsewhere they were footing the blame for the Black Death, Casimir the Great - so called - told the Jews they could come to Krakow. They came. They trundled their belongings into the city. They settled. They took hold. They prospered in business, science, education, the arts. They came with nothing. And they flourished. For six centuries there has been a Jewish Krakow. By this evening those six centuries will be a rumor. They never happened. Today is history.

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Just call me old fumble fingers, again.
Okay, here goes:
Okay, here goes:
Sol: There was a world, once, you punk.
Det. Thorn: Yes, so you keep telling me.
Sol: I was there. I can prove it.
Det. Thorn: I know, I know. When you were young, people were better.
Sol: Aw, nuts. People were always rotten. But the world 'was' beautiful.

I haven't done one for a while, so if nobody else gets this tomorrow I'll go ahead and take it.
(I'd suggest posting another clue but if a clue that includes names of the characters isn't enough, the only thing I can think of that would be more of a clue would be a quote including the title of the movie....
