Nommmmmmyyyyyy!

Post by Gob »

Just look at it. Gobsmacked? Wait until you see the price tag.

This is the latest reborn E-Type from British manufacturer Eagle, called the Spyder GT. And it is nothing short of glorious.

Every last nut and bolt is bespoke with modern-day components beautifully crafted into the shell of the iconic and achingly pretty 60s Jaguar. Want one? So do we!

But you'll need close to £1million in the bank to make this dream a reality.

Do you think they've built in the prerequisite galvanic corrosion that did so many of the XKEs in?

I wish "Top Gear" (as I came to enjoy it, with Clarkson, May, and Hammond; sat up until after 3:00 AM last night watching re-runs on BBC America, in fact) was still around.  I'd love to see them play with this — and you know damned well they would — as well as see The Stig take it for a hot-lap around the old Dunsfeld airdrome.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

BBC Top Gear gave this car their highest praise.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.
