NPR broadcast a very complete story about Murray's work within the past 4 months. I'm still looking for it.
Per the NPR story, Murray was also involved in a very extended sadomasochistic relationship with a married woman and apparently was sexually excited by the cruelest parts of his interrogations.
Nasty piece of work.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
