Stupid Political Quote Of The Day/Week/Month/Year?

Post by dales »

"It's an unbelievably complex subject. Nobody knew that health care could be so complicated," Trump told the governors.
What a marooooon!

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

I came here to post that same quote from The Guardian. I have not yet seen it elsewhere.
“We have come up with a solution that’s really, really, I think, very good,” Trump said. “It’s an unbelievably complex subject. Nobody knew that healthcare could be so complicated.”
To which one Guardianista (OK, me) posted

Actually, Donald: yes, we fucking did. You alone were not paying attention.
I think I was about the 100th person to make the same point with similar language. Of course he and his cabinet are the smartest in history.

President Trump really needs to get Nobody and Somebody in the same room together with him so than can straighten out their story. It looks more and more to me that Trump and his associates never believed they would actually win the electoral college, so they were free to say anything, promise anything, because they would never be in the oval office and actually called to deliver on anything.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Rubato's president is an arse.
