I saw that in the news yesterday...

Good for him; hopefully his coming forward will help to provide the publicity needed to get a proper investigation going...

Since this happened there have been bits and pieces of occasional coverage about it, but it always seems to be getting crowded out by other things blowing forth from Hurricane Trump...

The possibility that a POTUS who had been in office just one week recklessly ordered a military operation that was not properly thought out just to try and get some positive publicity for how "decisive" he is, is a "real" news story, and one that the American people deserve to have answers about.

Yemen SEAL Raid Has Yielded No Significant Intelligence: Officials

Last month's raid in Yemen, which cost the lives of a U.S. Navy SEAL as well as multiple children, has so far yielded no significant intelligence, U.S. officials told NBC News.

While Pentagon officials have said the raid produced "actionable intelligence," senior officials who spoke to NBC News said they were unaware of any.

The father of the dead SEAL questioned the premise of the raid in an interview with the Miami Herald published Sunday.

"Why at this time did there have to be this stupid mission when it wasn't even barely a week into [President Trump's] administration?" Bill Owens, whose youngest son Ryan was killed during the raid, said.
