If this doesn't give it away:

Is it Steel Magnolias?

PS - Dale, I did Zero-Dark-Thirty before, and I think you were the winning guesser (but I didn't go back to confirm that).

I have come to the conclusion that one useless man is called a disgrace; that two are called a law firm, and that three or more become a Congress!

That would have been my guess, if I were able on this round.

1776 — One Year that Changed the World

One of my favorite movies to re-watch around the 4th of July holidays.  It was a stroke of genius when producer Jack Warner (one of the eponymous Warner Brothers) decided to gather most of the leads — William Daniels (portraying John Adams), Howard Da Silva (portraying Dr. Benjamin Franklin), Ken Howard (portraying Thomas Jefferson), Virginia Vestoff (portraying Abigail Adams), David Ford (portraying John Hancock), Ron Holgate (portraying Richard Henry Lee), William Duell (portraying Andrew McNair, the Congressional custodian), and Jonathan Moore (portraying Dr. Lyman Hall) — from the Broadway production to reprise their roles for the film.

Is it "Ghandi"?

Either that or

Bill has it. The quote was from John Adams.

Not sure it was a "stroke of genius" to cast the broadway actors. That was done in a lot of the Rogers and Hammerstein plays, when they were made into movies. To notable exceptions were Julie Andrews for Mary Martin in The Sound of Music (Mary Martin was really too old to play that role on film), and Audrey Hepburn for Julie Andrews in My Fair Lady (the studio wanted a bona fide movie star).

In any event, your turn.

I'm reposting this new quote of Bill's because there was such a long time gap between his post and his adding the quote, people may not be checking this thread because they don't know it's been updated...
