And it was backed up with action - Trudeau and his minister of international development announced $650 million over 3 years for sexual and reproductive health, to make up some of the slack caused by Lord Dampnut's re-imposition of the Reaganite global gag rule, because Republicans believe that women's lives have no value except as breeding sows.

Well, not really, but there are some of his policies I can support, and I believe his intent is to do what is right for Canada, even when I don't agree with all his policy decisions. Does that seem reasonable to you Scooter?

Yes it does. I'm just funning with you, given your reaction after the election. :)

After the election, I was rather unhappy that Harper had lost, but one must move past things, and try to evaluate the new administration fairly. We are Canadian!

what does Canada have along line of Payroll taxes? the GST and PST are Huge! and Blackfiles. Beyond that and the eerie politeness the place seems great. (as long as you're in the southern parts or not during winter)

Payroll deductions tables

Payroll deductions calculator

Harmonized sales tax calculator and PST/GST by province

Here are some links to tax rates in Canada, still have no provincial sales tax in Alberta, at least for now!
