Since it is from a Psalm, I'd initially think David and Goliath, but I'm pretty sure that's wrong. I have one other guess, but I'll hold off for my usual 24 hours with that one.

but that's no surprise
Say oldr, I have a suggestion...

How about you only let us know when you actually have seen a movie?

That would ease the strain on the site's bandwidth considerably, and also save you a lot of keystrokes... :P

Jim, this is where some of us go to practice out typing skills, so more keystrokes is better.

Besides, oldr's comments are just as much a part of our regular customs and practices here in this thread as Ray's...(or, for that matter, your and Big RR's inevitable "I know this, but I'll wait.") ;)

I think I have posted those many few times when I actually did go and see a movie however, individual dialog of those movies is usually lost in those brain cells I killed. I find it exciting when I actually do recall a piece of dialog, and remembering the movie it was in is "orgasmic" really exciting.

And I know this one.
Saving Private Ryan.
Private Jackson (I remembered his name also) while he is taking his shots at the German soldiers from the tower.

ETA
And this is to go on the record, I did see this movie in theaters, not just on TV.

Now I have to go clean myself up. :o

He was left-handed trying to operate a bolt-action rifle with the bolt on the "wrong" side.

Strange, but true.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Well done, oldr! :ok :ok :ok

(It is possible to hit on a movie he's seen!)
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Here you go. This shouldn't be too hard.
Hopefully someone will get it before the end of the day so I can crown a new winner.
There is a box of Twinkies in there. And not just any Twinkies, but the last box of Twinkies in the whole universe. And believe it or not, Twinkies have an expiration date, and pretty soon, life's little Twinkie gauge is going to go...empty.

I remember seeing him do that. I tried replicating that with my Remington 600. Took me about a minute to chamber my next round. Scope kept getting in the way.

Wasn't this the plotline of a "Family Guy" episode where the Griffins, after causing the millennium bug to visit nuclear Armageddon onto the world, went on a Mad Max-style quest to the city that was the home of the Twinkie factory?

I've never watched the Family Guy so I have no idea if it's a plot for an episode.

Anyway, here's another clue
Do you know what they call Twinkies in Mexico? Los submarinos.

Bill, you're right about FG; and after they got there they set up an entire city run by Peter, the man who realized that the only food that could survive the destruction was Twinkies.

Jim--good one.
