No, and no. And I completely get Guin's reply.

Okay, there hasn't been a guess made since Tuesday, and I haven't done one for a while:

"Grumpier Old Men"

I liked the movie, (though the original was funnier; I like pretty much any Lemmon-Matthau movie) but the thing that was completely unrealistic about the flick was the idea that those two putzes could ever have attracted Ann Margret and Sophia Loren as girlfriends... 8-)

Yep. And I agree- like most sequels, the plot was forced.

I'm not grumpy and old! I'm middle aged and misanthropic.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Okay, new one:
A: When are you leaving?

B: I can't leave, I'm wanted.

A: Not by me.
Non quote clues:

The movie was made in the early 80s, and shares something in common with the last movie...

I think it's kind of underrated; it doesn't have a really great IMDB rating...(This may be because it was probably a little on the quirky side for many of the folks who might have been attracted to see it based on who was in it...)

ETA:

For Ray:

In order to save on time, keystrokes, and bandwidth, I'm posting this for you now:

"No Ray, that's incorrect"

You can just assume that as my standing reply to any of your "guesses" without my posting individual responses to them, until and unless you actually get it right.... ;)

Which at that point should be followed by four guys on horses and bringing Armageddon in their wake.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Well, crickets so far on this one...

Here's another quote (actually two; I'd like to wrap this up before the weekend):
This was gonna be it. Enough money to retire on because in this kind of work you don't qualify for social security.
A: I'm not against a little cleavage, if it's done in good taste, but nipples are a definite no-no.

B: What's the matter, everyone's got them.

A: Not in primetime.
Non-quote clue:

You could definitely call this a "buddy movie"...

Does this mean my above guess was wrong... again?

OK, this must be the movie you speak of:

It doesn't make sense to leave home to look for home, to give up a life to find a new life, to say goodbye to friends you love just to find new friends.

I'm pretty sure (99.99%) I know this one, but I probably won't be around this weekend so I'll leave it for someone else.

While you might identify with the Nutty Professor, RT, that would not be the answer.
