So it does not concern you that the same state which elected Donald Trump is morally competent to take a life?

Just because someone is wrong about one thing (Trump) doesn't necessarily mean that they will be wrong on everything.

I would think that an entity which we are granting to right to kill ought to be right all of the time, not just some of the time.

I generally avoid DP discussions, (because much like discussions about gun control, just about everything that can be said has been said on both sides of this issue on this board...repeatedly...we have reduced this pony to aerosol....)

But I rise to comment now, because this one is admittedly, uhh, novel:

That one wins the prize for being The Most Embarrassingly Silly "Argument" Against The Death Penalty Ever Made...

The day that "the state" starts making decisions about which individuals should receive the death penalty based on a "popular vote" (as opposed to the current system that involves trials and a lengthy appeals processes through the judiciary) that will be a splendid argument...

Until then, not so much....
