Me too! Drat.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Thanks for clarifying. I often work in that nether-region between ignorance and stupidity.

DAMN! So I'm led to believe I am wrong again... no? I try, try, try... and my best is never good enough. I can't understand it. Maybe I need a game that's less challenging. I'm such and idiot.

This is the movie I thought it was a few movies back.
R: They look like drug addicts.
D: Well, they are drug addicts.
R: Oh my God! You hired drug addicts?
D: Who'd you expect me to hire? The Red Cross?
N: They seem like very polite boys.
R: I don't like having drug addicts in my house!
N: Oh no, R. Don't think of them as drug addicts. Think of them as killers.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

New quote:
Reporter: [to H and M]Mr. *, Mr. *. What can you tell us?
M: Get the fuck away from me! Get those fuckin' microphones out of my face!
H: [to the reporters]Hey, what's going on? Is this about J? He dead or what?
M: [to H]Who's J?
H: He's the guy. The "guy".
M: Oh... yeah. The Guy. THAT guy. Fuck!
Reporter: He's still alive. Why? What do you know about it?
H: Oh... nothing.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Okay I'm going to go ahead and take this one...

In my opinion, Kevin Kline's second funniest performance after Otto in A Fish Called Wanda...

His character was tougher to kill than Rasputin:

Also superb performances from Tracey Ullman, William Hurt, and The Great Keanu Reeves... 8-)

Like Fargo...

(Except this one actually was "based on a true story")

In any event, here's the new clue for the new flick:
A: I suppose you're one of those fellows who does the Times crossword puzzle in ten minutes.

B: I have *never* taken ten minutes.
Another early 80s film; it stars a guy everyone here is very familiar with...

and of course, I want to add the...

No, it was the real story didn't have quite the happy ending tho. Or more to the point the movie ended before the "happy ending" realized people don't change.

Okay, time for another quote...
A: You really don't like women much, do you?

B: I do not. You see, I, together with my five elder sisters, was raised by a maiden aunt. Both my parents died tragically in childbirth. Until the age of ten, I was forced to wear my sister's hand-me-downs. Then when I married, I discovered to my horror that my wife also had five sisters, all unmarried, and all expecting my support. I find cats a far superior breed. Just on the off chance, I have made a will. I've left everything to my cats. I want it testified that I am sound of body and mind. Well go on!
Come on folks, somebody here should be able to get this....
