Is it "The Wild Geese"?

Okay two more quotes:

A: Timing underwater. Speed Underwater. That is what half our assignments are about. Harris! Are you listening to me?

B: Yes sir.

A: Then bloody well well look at me! Yesterday, ONE man completed the exercise precisely on time. ME!

[Produces a hand grenade from his bag]

A: Today, you will ALL complete the exercise precisely on time...
A: How are we doing, sir?

B: Like plowmen at a bloody knitting convention.

A: We're improving, then.
If none of you folks gets it today, then I'll give the answer and put up a new one...

In addition to giving away the name of the star of the movie, I've been giving the folks here a recurring clue to the movie's title in almost every post I've done since I posted the first quote...

And to save time, it's also not a movie with Michael Moore, Dudley Moore, Julianne Moore, Alvy Moore, Clayton Moore, or Mary Tyler Moore...

Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Galloping through the sward
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
And his horse Concorde
He steals from the rich
And gives to the poor
Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Riding through the night
Soon every lupin in the land
Will be in his mighty hand
He steals them from the rich
And gives them to the poor
Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Dum dum dum the night
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Dum de dum dum plight
He steals dum dum dum
And dum dum dum dee
Dennis dum, Dennis dee, dum dum dum
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Riding through the woods
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
With his bag of things
He gives to the poor
And he takes from the rich
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Riding through the land
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Without a merry band
He steals from the poor
And gives to the rich
Stupid bitch
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

I don't usually go for the religious-themed movies, but that one wasn't too bad - I really like Matt Modine.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

I didn't know for sure until I saw your hint.

Also, it was apparently also released as North Sea Hijack--likely in England. I saw this when I looked for a poster.
