Thanks everyone.
My daughter and I were supposed to kayak up (or down, depending on the tide) the Nissequogue river but the weather at the time of tid shifts did not cooperate. Saturday afternoon we would have gone "up" the river but it was raining. Then sunday morning it would have been down the river but it was so foggy you couldn't see 20 feet in front of you. We'll try again this weekend.
Fathers day/birthday/sameday was nice. I got to change the rear brakes on my wifes car, change a signal director bulb in the daughters car then cut the lawn and turn the grass clippings into the compost pile. Took a 1/2hour siesta in my hammock then bar-b-qued some steaks. sausage, chicken and corn on the cob.
All in all, a very fullfilling day. Couldn't have asked for more.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Me thinks your family has fooled you about how your special day is supposed to be celebrated.
