....but, but, but....
I thought for sure that I saw him, his wife, biden and others wiggling their bare butts all over the ground of this country (and especially across PA) in support of Clinton.....
maybe it was all a fever dream......
obama admin did not want to appear partisan....
Re: obama admin did want to appear partisan....
Wes, there's a difference between a President acting as a politician expressing his personal views campaigning on behalf of his party's nominee to succeed him, and official government pronouncements...
Of course I wouldn't expect a person who supports a man who views the government as his own personal possession to understand this distinction...

Re: obama admin did not want to appear partisan....
just change your party registration already...., sheesh, it ain t your party anymore, it is trump s party.

Re: obama admin did not want to appear partisan....
yes, the govt is my own personal possession..., and yours.

Au contraire...of the people, by the people and for the people.
I am saddened that a man of your knowledge and experience would be willing to give that up.
It is precisely because I cherish that national ethos that I oppose with every fiber of my being an authoritarian would-be oligarch who openly attempts to subvert the rule of law, and destroy any check on his raw exercise of personal power...
Donald J. Trump is the Number One Enemy of the system that preserves the rights and freedoms that you claim to care about...
I am saddened that you can't see that; he really isn't even trying to conceal it...
Or maybe you just don't care...

Not gonna happen wes...wesw wrote:just change your party registration already...., sheesh, it ain t your party anymore, it is trump s party.
I'm a stand and fight kinda guy...
And there are some signs of hope...
A few days ago, every Republican member of the Senate (except the neo-isolationist Rand Paul) voted for a bill to strengthen sanctions on Russia, and remove Trump's authority to unilaterally weaken them...
While few GOP members of Congress have yet completely broken with Trump, neither are the vast majority of them embracing his "witch hunt" BS, or his efforts to discredit Mueller, (I doubt that Richard Burr or Chuck Grassley consider the investigations they are conducting to be "Witch Hunts")
In the polls the number of those identifying themselves as Republicans that disapprove of Trump has been rising steadily...
I've been in this party for 40 years; I'm not going anywhere...(and neither are many others who feel as I do.)
Here's your hat; let me get the door for you...

Re: obama admin did not want to appear partisan....
nah, I m not a republican, they are just the lesser of two evils at the moment.
I hope that after the danger of impeachment has passed and after the mid terms, trump will throw off any party affiliation.
I predict that if Pelosi stays leader, joe manchin will become an independent before his next run.....
...or more likely, he joins the trump admin

I hope it passes from "danger" into accomplished fact...
