When I visited it, the guide spoke of a legend of Perkeo, a famous resident who was reputed have drunk it dry. My quick google search did not confirm even the existence of the legend. You can always depend on local guides for fake news. [the group I hung out with then was fond of telling American tourists about the sad day when American B-24's turned the Heidelberg Castle into the ruin you see today. Heidelberg was classed as a 'treasure city' like Paris and the allies never attacked it at all.]
