After BSG's post, I thought for sure somebody would get it...
Okay, here's another quote:
Not for nothing, the past is a funny thing, we all have skeletons in the closet. You just never know when they're gonna pop up and bite you in the ass.
And as another non-quote clue, I'll say that in addition to being a sci-fi flick, it's also a crime mystery thriller movie...

This sounds too easy. Let's try this one:
(snakes-on-a-plane)
“In a world whose absurdity appears to be so impenetrable, we simply must reach a greater degree of understanding among us, a greater sincerity.”
You know, I was going to put at the end of my post "No, Ray, it's not "Snakes on a Plane". But then I'd figure I'd let you post that first. It's almost another game entirely to guess what Ray's "guesses" are going to be.
No, and not Temple of Doom either.
Death is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.
It didn't ring a bell, so I Googled it (I *REALLY* did not want to take another turn at this point!) and found, to my surprise, that it actually was a film I had seen, enjoyed, and remembered. It's a movie that ought to be a lot more well-known, considering the major actors, director, source material, and even the composer of the score, who were involved in the production.
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

since I am often not on this Board over the weekend I will not guess today--but if no one gets it by Monday, I will take it. FWIW, I didn't recognize the first quote (I still domn't recall it), but did the second one.
I'd take another stab or two but I don't want to interfere with the true spirit of the game. Sometimes I get the feeling I'm not being taken seriously.
