If anyone figures it out - if it's an IE settings issue - let me know!
Check what version of IE you have. I had an old version and quite a few websites didn't work properly for me, including Reboot.

Also, try changing your pop-up blocker setting.

I can't understand why anyone uses Bill Gates' spam laden McBrowser when Firefox is available....

At home I use Google Chrome, which is great.

At work, I don't have a choice.

So does it work at home and not at work? Or not at either?

I'm pretty sure I've accessed it on IE at home before, and posted. But then, I'm pretty sure I posted from work in the past, too.

This new development seems to have arisen in just the past few weeks here at work, and I am not aware of any settings changes. I have added that site to my pop-up-blocker 'okay' list, but then, I don't think pop ups actually come into play for posting.

I will try to check my home computer, using IE, tonight and see if I can access it from there. If not, I'm basically in a read-only situation with that site.

Well as Gar has said it is a work in progress, so maybe he changed something that is incompatable with whatever IE you are using. Click "HELP" on the toolbar and see what version both computers are using. I upgraded to 8.0 and I can have no problems now.

I just scrolled through over a hundred posts (mainly steve's brighly colouered cut n pasts,) to find a ten word reply from Jim.

Won't do that again in a hurry.

Dont be so negative.

You KNOW how hard it is to get traffic going on a new Boad. Steve is only doing what he thinks will help.

I've tried - I can't. I'll try back periodically to see if I can access it. If most of the traffic is the usual gloom/doom stuff from Steve, I won't find much worth responding to.

A major waste of ASCII, especially with the comments posted by some concerning the tragic events in Tuscon.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Meanwhle, at the old CSB The Dim One has opined that the only difference between me and the Arizona shooter is that I haven't shot anyone yet, and editec has followed up with a Milkbone congratulating him for trying to inject "reality" into the conversation....

Five of the most irritating problems I have with CSB II:

1. Slow as molasses in the dead of winter.

2. Non-intuitive navigation.

3. Too many "bells and whistles" that compound the above issues.

4. Having to scroll down forever to find the latest posts.

5. A certain poster who cut and pastes the same old crap ad naueseum.

Thanks for starting this BBS, Gob. :ok

Hey LJ!

Did you read the post over at CSB 1 that dimquad wrote about wanting to help Gar "preserve the data" at CSB?

For some weird reason he believes that would upset us.

I guess he forgot that it was his three friends that want the CSB to disappear.

He must have blown a brain fuse when he melted down the other day.

quad's strange post.

Should someone send a doctor around to his house? Seriously. I am concerned about the man.

He is really going odd now.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was found in month old underwear in a darkened room.

Well, perhaps I am not really serious. I'd have to care about Quad to worry about Quad.

I don't care for him, so I'm not concerned. One of his other 'friends' can worry about what action they should take about him based on his behaviour.

For his sake, I hope it is soon.
