And then, a few years later, Harry Chapin and his wife Sandy wrote, and Harry recorded, this one...as a deliberate counterpoint to "Cat's in the Cradle." (The first time he performed it in public was during a live interview on the Roy Leonard show on WGN radio/720 AM Chicago. He said he'd just finished it the night before, and I just happened to be listening that morning.)
