Summer is over. That's why it's 99ºF outside.

Simmerly it was 85ºF in beautiful, downtown, Kennett Square earlier today.

When winter finally gets here I feel certain it's going to be brutal.

Amazing how that happens on September 21/22.

Here in the Far NorthEast we are on our third night of loud howling winds, loudest night so far. They are just below tropical storm force here - higher out on the Cape/Islands. Six flood tides dodged, two more to manage. Low 60s. No sun. Definitely not summer-like, but I hear it's just out there, if Jose ever dies.

Hope she doesn't become a problem!
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Sunday's forecast is now 87! I'm thinking of spending the morning on the beach before my work shift starts at 3, my new private client lives right on the water and there's a nice beach just down the road.

If you thought Friday's 25 degree day was good, here's some even better news: Canberra is set to smash a 52-year-old record on Saturday.

You'll be forgiven if you pull out the bathers and put on the shorts, with the capital forecast to have the warmest September day on record, a balmy 29 degrees.

The temperature, if reached, is 0.4 degrees above the last record, from 1965, senior climatologist Agata Imielska from the Bureau of Meteorology said.

"We've had really warm conditions across NSW and the ACT," Ms Imielska said. "With 29 degrees forecasted, we're expecting Canberra to break its September highest maximum temperature record."

With hot and windy conditions forecast across NSW, a total fire ban has been declared in parts of the state, including the Illawarra and Shoalhaven area, where fire conditions are severe, and the far South Coast around the Bega Valley and Eurobodalla, where the fire risk is very high.
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

Hard to say yet, but I hope not either.

Jose still sticking around which keeps Maria away, but I think he is finally breaking apart. Friday was the most intense day yet - even stronger winds and temps dropped into the low 50s. I turned my heat on for a couple of hours to take the chill out of the house. The winds have finally ratcheted down from 30s to 20s and that screaming train-like howl is finally done.

Nothing compared to what others in PR, the Islands, FL, and TX have survived, but 4 days of constant loud noise is exhausting. Hoping later today and tomorrow are lovely! I think it will be much cooler here on the beach, and the surf will remain high.

"... a balmy 29 degrees..."
That's exactly what I find outside my door (19348-2744) at this very minute.

Somehow, some way, we're gonna' pay.

We 'mericans don't do Celsius, the metric system or drive on the wrong side of the road.
