For some reason the word 'eponymous' comes to mind. Let me ponder this conundrum further.Guinevere wrote:Were you waiting for me to appear in this thread again?

A clever trap he laid.

Yeah... but I cheated -- I looked it up.
However, just in case I'm not let off the hook for my rare attempt at humor, let's try this:

Great Expectations?

No, it's much more obscure than that.BoSoxGal wrote:Great Expectations?

Re: Name That Movie!
that line kind of sums up the way I felt about the movie (OK, not everything I every wanted, but I did have some modest hopes based on the cast that my prurient interests would be satisfied, but sadly it was rated PG as I recall).
PLEASE, Please... Name That Movie!
Quite obviously another quote is needed. This should seal the deal. However, I scrambled the character's name to make it harder.
"mondRay: Yeah, we peoples."
"mondRay: Yeah, we peoples."

And to give a hint, if it's the film I'm thinking of, Bobby Goldsboro would have loved it.
ETA: but it may not be, I don't recall the second quote, but I'm pretty sure of the first one.

Based on the mention of Bobby Goldsboro (which I believe references the song 'Elusive Butterfly of Love') , I'm going to guess

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Did he sing that song? I'm not sure who did, but I didn't think he sang it.

Here's a non-quote clue: bees produce it at the hive.

“In a world whose absurdity appears to be so impenetrable, we simply must reach a greater degree of understanding among us, a greater sincerity.”

Baby bees?

Jeez, JG. That's not a movie name. I wish you'd get serious once in a while. This game is important to most of us here.Joe Guy wrote:Baby bees?

OK, everybody -- here's my last quote but, honestly, I think you're messin' with my head. Admittedly it ain't Shakespeare.
"Well, there's only one world - the real world - and in that world if a man takes a woman out on a Friday night in her hooker heels and she can't bring her homegirl, he tryin' to get some booty."

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
