The turd doesn't fall far from the tree . . .

Post by ex-khobar Andy »

Apparently D Trump Jr has been teaching his child the evils of socialism by confiscating half her Haloween haul and giving it to another kid.

Chloe you seem like a nice kid. It's never too early to learn that your father is a wanker - a lesson that appears to have been lost on him. Please be an exception to my thread title.

A Twitstorm of course. I have never until now seen the point of Twitter, although I have to confess I am tempted to open an account just so that I can 'like' some of the responses.

Are you aware that's a really old joke that existed before D Jr. had kids?

So what? Are you aware that Donnie Jr. did, in fact, post that really old and stupid joke?

It doesn't surprise me. As Andy said in a different manner, like father like son. Both don't G.A.S. about pissing people off. If you're pissed off, he's succeeding. Some gleefully stuff butter up a wildcat's ass with a hot poker. That's how they get their jollies.

FWIW, here's the tweet in question:
Image
...and here's a spot-on response from Jim Wright:
  • Never too early to teach her about conservative capitalism either.

    Sure.

Put her in an orphanage that sells her out to work in a coal mine. Kid that size can get into spaces an adult can't, business can find all sorts of uses for them. You don't have to pay them. They don't need safety equipment. You hardly have to feed them. And if they die, fuck it, you can always get more.

Meanwhile, the Robber Baron she works for gets 99% of all the candy in the world and she and all the other kids get to split 1%.

Oh, and while you're teaching lessons, Junior, make sure she knows her lady parts belong to you.
    These fucking people, seriously.
    __________
Note: Don't. Don't even start. If politicians don't want their kids to be part of the discussion, then they should leave them out of it. I didn't drag this kid into politics, HER SHITBAG FATHER DID. Take it up with him.

That Donnie Jr. has grammar issues?

Or that his little girl is costumed as a cop?

Over 66,000 people liked the tweet. I don't know about you but I don't know anyone that uses or follows twitter. Again I'm seeing tip of the iceberg evidence of a silent majority. I suspect the base that elected Trump would LTAO if they saw that tweet.

Not sure. Did Auntie Ivanka help her select the bucket to match the shoes?

Yes, the bucket and sneakers are the same color as grandfather's face.

Interesting how the overthrow of Qaddafi set the stage for Benghazi, Mali and now Niger. No one's laughing about any of it. Why was it we overthrew Qaddafi? BTW, I fault Bush, Obama and now Trump equally.

Over 66,000 people liked his tweet.

There are over 320 million Twitter users. That means approximately 319,934,000 Twitter users didn't like it...

Wow Joe! Do you realize that's virtually the entire population of the US from infant to adult? Somehow I suspect most of the twitter universe doesn't care. FWIW, you're among those that missed the point.

Half of them are probably Russian bot accounts.

I most definitely missed the point. I didn't even know there was one. I thought you gave the answer to your question regarding whether anyone else saw what you saw when you pointed out that over 66,000 liked the tweet.

That's interesting, because as I have demonstrated by presenting the numbers, there is absolutely no evidence...

Zero, zip, nada...

That support for Donald Trump has ever reached a "majority", and certainly isn't now...

A very noisy minority, yes, but no "silent majority", now or at any time in the past...

I wish we had a like feature here. I like your post.

First we have the Mueller investigation into the Russians which IMO was a scam, and possibly not if the emails were lifted from Clinton's private servers, to extract money from the Trump campaign. Then you have the Russian dossier which was another attempt to find wrong doing on Trump's part. The really interesting part is that was originally commissioned by a GOP rich guy who was supporting either Rubio or Cruz during the primary. Rich guy lost interest for some reason. Then the project was apparently shopped to the DNC who ran with it. It's more than interesting that none of the DNC major players will now admit to being involved in it. It's not curious when you consider that when Trump entered the primary, it looked like the world against Trump per the media ... and still does. So your thought of many of the likes being from Russian bot accounts fits the general scheme of things going back to the primary,

Hey didya know Twitter users extend beyond the boundaries of the US? Imagine that, the interwebs can cross oceans.

I'm a Twitter user (as are lots of people I know -- its been a very useful tool of the resistance) and I most definitely did NOT like that post, but those that did are probably the typical collection of bots, racists, white supremacists, and the utterly clueless.
