Cornwall for Americans
Cornwall for Americans
Just watched this interesting doco on Cornwall from an American perspective/promotion.
A few errors, but nothing to quibble about, (his pronunciation of "Cornwall" is rather off.)
Nicely shot.
(Plan B members are offered free lodging in the West Penwith area reviewed here, you only have to ask.)

Visited Penzance back in 1966.
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Patricia? Bernard?
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Cornwall for Americans
I was in Cornwall in 1978, and we did not get to Tintangel, so it's definitely on my list for a return visit if I ever get back to England.
Rick Steves does a nice job with his programs. He has a regular 30 minute travel show on PBS every week. He also does longer format programs, and publishers travel guides. I usually appreciate his take, and I like how he always tries to include some outdoor/natural attraction into to the mix. And yes, the camera work is always quite good.
I've been meaning to research how we ended up getting into this work, because I would really like to have his a job someday. Actually I'd really like to have it today!

Re: Cornwall for Americans
Beyond creating a pretty good travel show, Steves' travel guides are good investments -- I've had success using his travel guides as a main resource for trips, including a trip to England/Scotland (but no Cornwall!).Guinevere wrote: Rick Steves does a nice job with his programs. That's good to know LR, because on the strength of the show, I gave my BIL a Rick Steves Italy guide for a trip they are planning next year.
